MAZARIADES 2004 – USEFUL RECOMMENDATIONS

Dear friends,

So that you can prepare your stay in Portugal, we allow ourselves to give you some useful recommendations and to transmit useful details of organisation to you.

1) Some useful recommendations

- Portugal is a cold country with hot sun. We advise you to bring jumpers because the evenings are fresh (sometimes very fresh).

- Credit cards are accepted about everywhere and there are cash machines on all street corners.

- For those who ignore that, the local currency is the Euro

- If you do not speak Portuguese, please avoid speak Spanish

- For those who will to rent a car, note with the limits speed and ban on using mobiles while driving.

- Those which have the licence boat are requested to make themselves known to us


2) Other details

- Friday 24 midday until lunch of Sunday 26, you will be under the charge with of organisation of Mazariades.

- The housing of the participants is distributed between CLUB MED da BALAIA and BALAIA VILLAGE, a tourist complex five minutes walk away from CLUB MED.
All the meals are at CLUB MED.

- Buildings of the sporting competitions:

Foot: Hotel Alfamar (15 minutes in the bus of CLUB MED), shuttle assured throughout tournament (Saturday 25 and Sunday 26)

Tennis: CLUB MED

Volley ball: Beach of CLUB MED

Golf: Ocean with Vale Lobo (40 minutes in the car of CLUB MED)-
shuttles assured throughout tournament (Saturday 25).

- Small things - big consequences... the drinks had outside organised meals or any cocktails are paid for by those who order them. You can buy your tickets for the bar at the reception of CLUB MED.
